Parken Stadium, Copenhagen

Pretty much all the comments regarding the Millennium stadium hold good for this venue too. With an opening roof it doesn’t really matter what the weather is doing. The temporary track, which is very similar in construction to Cardiff, produces good racing. I suspect that such tracks are a small price to pay for the fact that you are certain of seeing a meeting and that you will be relatively comfortable and dry in the process.

The stadium is easy to find in Oster Alle opposite Faelled Parken about a 20 –30min walk from the Centre of Copenhagen (Tivoli).

Security at both this stadium and the Millennium is of a higher degree than most of the other GP venues and maybe you can go along with that. But what security risk a plastic bottle of orange juice represents I am still trying to figure! Tins of beer - well ok, but it would be nothing to do with the fact that such items are on sale in the stadium at inflated prices –no of course not, safety is paramount!!
